A CONNECTION ELEVATED.

At TCC Design Build we are fascinated by the relationship between interior and exterior space and are constantly imagining new ways to blur the two
conditions resulting in threshold spaces that are physical manifestations of connection. The bridge at 65 Aerie drive is exactly that. The bridge connects

the two halves of the home while floating above the outdoor space at its center. It is from the bridge that the water feature can be seen in its entirety as
well as the panoramic mountain view. We made the bridge as transparent as possible with windows instead of walls, so it appears as a simple floor and roof.
The floor and ceiling mirror each other with beautiful Ipe wood that reinforces the idea that this is a threshold space. The pebbles along the edge of the

Ipe bridge relate to those used in the water feature below while emphasizing the concept of the bridge.
