         Smart Working isn't about home working it's about

         being where you need to be to do your job.


         If employees wish to work from home that's fine as

         long as the service needs are met. The extent of

         smartworking will vary according to job role and the

         main consideration is the impact on access to services

         by the public and employee welfare.


         We trust you to maintain the service that our

         residents demand. We believe they can be provided more effectively.



         Where and when you do the work does not matter; producing outcomes

         to the right quality and on time does.




         Why not work where and when  you are most productive?

         Experiment with varying your routine, try being out of the office a bit
