Welcome to Toastie Picton, A.K.A Carb Heaven. As our name suggests, our takeaway bar
on London Quay specialises in toasted sandwiches. We know what you’re thinking, “how
great can a toastie really be?”, but these aren’t the toasties your mum used to throw in
the panini press for you after school. At Toastie Picton, we serve thick cut, gourmet
toasties, all made with a four-cheese mix and quality ingredients. Not a day goes by that
we don’t get told we’re serving what might just be the best sandwiches in New Zealand.

Our team also serves coffee from Coffee Supreme, gourmet sodas from Six Barrel Soda
INNOVATION WINNER Co, and our Picton-famous custard cream doughs. Upon opening, we could have never
anticipated the rollercoaster we would be in for.

The Marlborough Grape Growers Cooperative (MGGC) makes excellent Sauvignon
Blanc for which the region is renowned. But we don’t go out to sell it. Instead, we work
closely with wine buyers and develop bespoke wines they define for their own
markets. As a cooperative, the MGGC is owned by its growers. Members enjoy various
benefits by being part of the MGGC, such as assured supply agreements, a share of
annual profits, and expert assistance and support to ensure crop success. In operation
now for an entire decade, the MGGC has recently enhanced its strategy and
PRIMARY SECTOR FINALIST introduced new business processes to better position the Cooperative for the future.
The MGGC is a unique business, offering tailored solutions to its customers and able to
be agile and reactive thanks to its small but talented group of staff.
