5. Mineral

One of the substances that is quite important
its role for the body is mineral. Minerals are non-
organic compounds that do not provide energy.

Minerals consist of two groups, including
                          macroelements and microelements. Macroelements
are various elements that the body needs in large

                        quantities. For example, sodium, potassium,
                          phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine, and sulfur.

Elements such as phosphorus, chlorine, and sulfur Figure 7. Fresh fruits and vegetables rich in

are acidic in solution. These elements are vitamins and minerals

abundantly present in protein foods and cerelia
products. While for others such as sodium,
potassium, and magnesium are alkaline in solution.

Such substances abundant in fruits and vegetables.
As for microelements, the type of elements used by the body in small
quantities includes manganese, chromium, cobalt, molybdenum, copper, and zinc.
These various elements are essential for metabolic processes and the formation of
                        body structures.
