EXCEPTIONAL!
GREAT!
EXTRAORDINARY!
NOTABLE!
TERRIFIC!
Best Locally!
Best Nationally!
Best Internationally!
Best Globally!
If that doesn’t spell EXCELLENCE, then I don’t know what does!
Year on year, The Regent Secondary and now College, produce students that have shone their brilliance from the
highest peak; now that light has spanned countries, to include the World Best!!! – EXCELLENCE!
Then there was COVID-19 but from the start of the lock down up until this present time, there has been no ‘break in
transmission’ - Teaching and Learning, Activities and Accolades – all of the excellent services still offered. –
EXCELLENCE!
Not that there were no hiccoughs; of course not! EXCELLENCE is not perfection; EXCELLENCE is quality,
distinction, something worthy of merit.
A situation like COVID-19 could not have been foreseen by the best and yet we forged ahead, learning from our
mistakes and making improvements where needed.
That is RESOURCEFULNESS... that is RESILIENCE…that is EXCELLENCE!
And there is so much more!
The Board’s Swimming Pool Project, now that the Lock Down has been lifted, the tireless effort of Support, Admin
and Academic staff to keep all the quality services, that Regent offers, going in the face of unprecedented times. –
EXCELLENCE!
So take the journey via the Digest, see what we’ve been up to and where we are going.
After all, in the de facto lingua franca of our very own country, ‘Regent no dey carry las’ = Regent is first in all
things…EXCELLENCE!
