On this episode Co Smitty down w ' Hawk' A Pryor was Light Welterweight
Champ and was one of the most popular and exciting fighters of his era. His two fights with Alexis Arguello are the
stuff of legends and as if often the case in Boxing, formed a bond between the two Champions that lasted their
lifetime. Pryor had a few struggles outside the ring but overcame them and was able to lead a happy life until his
death in 2016.
Aaron and Smitty got in the ring at the International Boxing Hall of Fame and Smitty got to see
what 'HawkTime' is all about!
In This Corner premiered on April 1 2004 on the Empire Sports Network broadcasting in Upstate New
York and Nationally on DirecTV and Dish Network. Since that first airing, In This Corner has been on the
