On this episode Co Smitty down w J Tapia had one of the most powerful and
inspiring stories in Boxing but it was also filled drama and tragedy along the way. The demons he carried with him
from childhood fueled his Hall of Fame career but it also left a trail of self destruction in his wake. His wife Teresa
opens up and helps tell the story of 'Mi Vida Loca'. He was beloved for always wearing his heart on his sleeve and
never failing to give the fans their money's worth.

Johnny may have been wild outside the ring but he was a very calculated warrior inside the
Squared Circle. He was happy to show Smitty how he would systematically break down an
opponent

In This Corner premiered on April 1 2004 on the Empire Sports Network broadcasting in Upstate New
York and Nationally on DirecTV and Dish Network. Since that first airing, In This Corner has been on the
air every week and is in its 15th year of featuring one on one interviews and in ring demonstrations with
the biggest names in the sport of Boxing.

There has never been another show that has chronicled the stories of this many World Champions.
