Outside the Bowl had an incredible opportunity to make
an impact in Uganda in 2019 and the year ahead. An
introduction to the Kibaale Community Center was made
by some OTB friends and supporters with the hopes that “THE IMPACT OF THE FOOD
OTB could meet the food needs for this ministry. The
students typically received one meal a day, a corn-based PROGRAM THAT THE DUTCH
mush with little nutritional value. Vita Kidz Porridge
proved to be a perfect solution. A shipping container of REFORM CHURCH OF SOUTHERN
Vita Kidz Porridge was sent to the Kibaale Community PAARL ROLLED OUT IN
Center in the fall. The container held enough food to feed
the entire student body for a year. Proper nutrition is so CONJUNCTION WITH OUTSIDE THE
important for education. Outside the Bowl is expectant of
the impact Vita Kidz will have on the students at Kibaale. BOWL SOUTH AFRICA CANNOT BE
Vita Kidz is opening the door for Outside the Bowl to have DESCRIBED IN WORDS. CURRENTLY
an impact far beyond the reach of each Super Kitchen.

MORE FUNDS WE CAN ACHIEVE

A LOT MORE. IT GIVES US SO

MUCH PLEASURE TO SEE THE

HAPPY LITTLE FACES. FOR MANY

CHILDREN, THESE MEALS ARE

THEIR ONLY PROPER MEAL FOR

THE WEEK.”
