            were   consigned   to   a   newly   created   “5   Remove”   for   the
            following academic year when “A” and “B” classes would find
            themselves in the sixth form!



               By Easter I had found a job that interested me with the local
            ‘Standard’   newspaper   group   and   finally   began   full   time
            employment, still without any “paper” qualifications.
               At home Mother and Father were still fighting frequently,
            mother would disappear to her bed if she got the worse of the
            argument and anything planned for the day or week end would
            just fall apart. Grandmother was still looking after the lodgers
            and Sister Jane had begun her secondary education at the local
            High School for girls.
