Ebony was a much older horse and sensible
horse... “snort”, “I am afraid that if I was the
boss..,” he said, “I would want to see you
become much nicer before you go out to special
events...you don’t smile enough and you are too
snooty!” he said firmly.
With that...Ebony turned round and took his
friend Sammy out of the stables for the last time
and into the sunshine in the yard.
“Do you know,” he said in a delighted sort of
voice... “I’ve been wanting to say something to
that snooty horse for ages..and now I’ve told
him just what most people think!”
“I hope it does him some good..” said Sammy.
Joe was waiting for them...”You two are going
on a fine adventure,” he said. “I shall miss you
both very much,” he continued.
After working with Ebony for over seven years,
Joe had naturally become very attached to his
big four legged friend with the furry coat!
He had a soft spot in his heart for Sammy too!
