In November 1988 Ebony and Sam came to our new home at
Northcote, Great Steeping, near Spilsby, in Lincolnshire, UK.
Picture above, take just after they arrived.
At this time we were working the Wedding Carriage Hire business with old
Juno, her son Jupiter and of course Dinan the Dalmatian Carriage dog.
We travelled these two Shire Horses together from London, in our large
“Wedding Carriage” trailer pulled by a long wheelbase Land Rover with V8
petrol engine kindly borrowed from Graham Larrington from Boston.
In 1989 we were to open the doors to the new Northcote Heavy Horse
Centre.
