This Second photo:
John Rundle (passenger) the local Agricultural
Engineer, who features in several stories,
being 'taken for a ride' by 'middle son' Ken.
Ken was the owner and driver of KEN 45, the
car featured in the first story in this book!
Both these picture taken in the 'basin' at the bottom of our 'Ivy House' garden, shows the
Rundle Family Iron Foundry in the background.
This basin was the terminus at New Bolingbroke of the 'Drain' from Boston which carried
all the transport for the first 'New Town' enterprises in the late 1790's to 1800 or so.
