One of his very first outings was here at Woodhall Spa.
We had found this genuinely antique carriage locally and had it restored at
Keightleys Boatyard at Boston.
This is a “Victoria” Carriage, note the wide sweeping rear mudguards. This
type of carriage became popular at the time of Queen Victoria.
This particular carriage was originally built in Austria.
