DECISION TIME
It happened while I was undertaking a journey with a
lovely double ended traditional timber sailing yacht from
Brightlingsea in Essex to Glasgow.

(The 'Glasgow boat' pictured outside Brightlingsea, using
that same trailer with hydraulic brakes. This boat was far
heavier than a 'Magyar' which were made of plywood.)

I had managed so far to cover my various absences by
being judicious with my weekly Firestone paperwork; the
confusion created within the company by the management
