Everything imaginable was sold from in excess of 100 stalls
            each striving to return each week to their favourite place or
            prominent position.
               The square was dominated by majestic buildings.
               To the west was the well know, huge and impressive
            “perpendicular” parish church, St Botolph’s, the largest in
            England.







































               Popularly named “The Stump” simply because in this flat
            part of Lincolnshire its fine tall square tower can be seen
            standing proud for 10 to 20 miles.
