There are always large bills in September. This year there was no money to pay them.
I had made out cheques for the most important and told Terena not to send any out until
money came in.
During our second week away Terena called me to say a donation cheque had just arrived
for £2000.

Heavens be praised and how true too!

SUPPORT

A group of supporters called Pennine Animal Lovers who had been sending us regular
cheques for over 8 years had decided to wind up their group.
They were all getting too old they told us and we received a third of all they had left in their
bank!

A week before Easter 2007, I needed to find £1000 to pay bills and it wasn’t there!

On the Monday before Good Friday, a cheque arrived following the funeral of one of our
supporters, for over £450. In the same post were cheques for another £200.

On Wednesday of the same week, we received further cheques from a funeral in Boston
from people who we had not heard of previously. Another £300. We made it!

I suppose it is all a bit stressful. But if you can learn not to worry and have faith, you really
can get help!

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ASK FOR HELP AND PUT YOUR TOTAL TRUST IN GOD.

YOU REALLY DO HAVE TO PUT YOUR LIFE TOTALLY IN HIS HANDS AND

THINGS WORK OUT.

YOU WILL NEVER BE GIVEN A FORTUNE, BUT IF YOU FOLLOW WHAT

IS ORDAINED FOR YOU, THEN YOU WILL BE GIVEN ALL YOU REALLY NEED!

We just trust that what we do is God’s will. We continue to ask Him for guidance and to
keep us doing what he wishes.

The next chapter or two will illustrate how all these circumstances “ganged up” on us!
