More tight finishes

Here’s the second tight finish that saw
Akala one second over the line ahead of
the Tumlaren Sirocco.

Again the Race judges had to line
up One with binoculars looking
for the tip of Sirocco’s bow and
the other in line with the finish
line ready call “Now”one. Sad
for Sirocco after catching up
to Akala she was a bit to
close unable to it break out
from the Akala wind suction.

finish line angle favoured
Akala.

Although Snow Goose had the speed to catch
Martini the finish line came up too soon. It was
binoculars on the bow of Martini to see watch if
any part of the Snow Goose showed in front
of Martini. Didn’t happen Didn’t
happen. Another one
