CONTINUE AIR INTAKE OF PETROL ENGINES
CLEANING PROCEDURE
Place the vehicle outside the workshop or connect it to the exhaust gas extractor
Insert or connect the chosen adapter to the air intake just after the air mass meter
Connect the adapter to the Applicator VBWT01-18
Start the engine and let it run at idle
Ensure the valve of the Applicator VBWT01-18 is completely open
Check for leaks
Closely monitor the cooling temperature and other functions of the engine
Place the VB45 can on a safe place on top of the engine so that the vibrations will mix the
VB45
Best:
o After 15 minutes, stop spraying the VB45 and stop the engine
o After 2 hours, start the engine and finish adding the can of VB45
Good:
o All the entire can of VB45
Then:
o After all the VB45 has been sprayed in, stop the engine and wait for 2 hours
o Drive the vehicle first in the normal fashion and then accelerate the engine above
6,000 rpm. with an immediate release of the accelerator
o Repeat this driving procedure until the engine is performing normally
Note:
The VB45 is vaporized to a very fine mist and will be carried by the air towards the combustion
chambers coating the entire system.
Leave the vb45 for a minimum of 2 hours, the VB45 will soak into the deposits ensuring a
deeper clean.
Due to the special formulation and the low revs of the engine during the cleaning procedure,
the VB45 will survive the combustion and will soak the deposits inside the exhaust manifold,
the converter and the turbo charger.
IMPORTANT - Take care that the nozzle is positioned in the center of the air intake duct.
Otherwise, the nozzle might touch against the duct/pipe and the fine mist may pool allowing
liquid deposits to form which may be dangerous and cause damage.
