Annual Election
Welcome to the new leadership team
The annual meeting and election was held on a beautiful and mild
late summer Saturday morning hosted by Bonnie Springs
Ranch. The members and board enjoyed a luscious continental
breakfast while mingling and catching up with old and new
friends. President Williams and the board members welcomed the
guests and provided nancial updates as well as organizational
accomplishments for the past year.
After the proposed budget was distributed, Williams answered
questions about the revenue streams and planned expenditures. Cover:
Williams introduced board candidates Mark Beauchamp, Jule Burke, Front row left to right: Pene Herman, Rose
Joe Labie and provided a brief biography for absent Keough, Martha Burk, Lorrie Vavak, Linda
candidate Gerry Wojciechowski then requested nominations from Vetter
the oor. Ken Osgood motioned to approve the budget and
board candidates as presented. The motion was seconded by Norm Back row left to right: Tom Hughes, Norm
Kresge with all members unanimously voting in favor of the

Williams expressed her deep support of the new Friends of Red Page 10 and 11 Cultural Resource Team
Rock Canyon leadership team and noted the hands-on experi
ence, passion and commitment the team brings to the organization.
President-Elect Beauchamp surprised Williams with a
certi cate of recognition from Congresswoman Shelley Berkley
commemorating her six years as president of Friends of Red
