2. Primary Student who withdraws or drops out will result in the second student’s
termination at the same time.
a. Tuition Refunds for Withdrawal will be considered according the THBI Refund
Policy with the following exceptions:
i. Primary Student Withdrawal in the case of Secondary Student’s Program Failure
will be cause for rejection of any tuition refund request.
ii. Primary Student Withdrawal after his/her own Program Failure will be cause for
rejection of any refund request.
b. NO Tuition refund for Dropping Out will be considered under any circumstances.
IV. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Individuals who are in special circumstances or disadvantaged life conditions may be granted a
Special Discount.
A. Missionary Ministries: Verifiable “Active Service” Missionary Ministers and/or their
immediate family members
1. Discount: 50% Discount on Tuition; Registration Fees cannot be discounted
2. Documentation: 1) Must include copy of official Missions Board or similar
verification of Missionary Status with REGISTRATION Form.
2) Must include copy of official Mission Field Assignment
documentation with APPLICATION Forms.
B. Medically Disabled: Individuals who are verifiably disabled receiving SSD/SSI benefits and
not otherwise employed.
1. Discount: 50% Discount on Tuition; Registration Fees cannot be discounted
2. Documentation: 1) Must provide copy of SSD/SSI documentation with APPLICATION
forms.
2) Must provide Notarized Affidavit stating that individual is not
substantially employed in addition to receiving SSD/SSI benefits.
C. Inmates/Parolees: Individuals incarcerated in state or federal prisons, or state or federal
parolees or convicts on probation (SIS sentences do not qualify) require documentation:
1. Discount: 50% Discount on Tuition; Registration Fees cannot be discounted
2. Documentation: Applications must include documentation as set forth below:
a. Inmates: 1) Verification of Incarceration
2) Letter of Endorsement from Prison Chapel which must include chapel
attendance and information concerning any completion or regular
participation/completion of Christian Discipleship or Christian
“Recovery” programs available in the prison.
b. Parolees: Includes individuals on probation
1) Verification of Parole/Probation status from State/Federal Parole Office
2) Letter of Endorsement from CURRENT Pastor stating endorsing you
to be a student of THBI and statements of your pattern of Church
attendance and any additional Church Ministry/Programs participation.
