Title of the Practice: Model Making:

Objective of the Practice: To provide a thorough understanding of the construction and working

of instruments and gadgets used in different fields of science

The Actual Practice: The students are asked to make models of gadgets (typewriter), instruments

(DSLR camera), firearms (different kinds of guns, bullets) that is taught at a theoretical level in
order. As a thorough understanding of crime scenes is an essential skill set of every forensic

science graduate, the students are also encouraged to use models to reconstruct the crime scene.

To further aid students in understanding life processes, Professors often make on-the-spot 3D
structures using paper and readily available material during the lectures. Other science disciplines
