      and explain phenomena that cannot be experienced directly.


      Outcome: The activity enabled the students to obtain a thorough understanding of the theoretical
      concepts on instruments, gadgets and crime scenes  or scientific principles which they are able to

      carry forward and remember the same beyond the classroom and exams.
































      Title of the Practice: Hands on Training by visiting crime scenes:


      Objective  of  the  Practice:  To  provide  hands  on  training  on  handling  real  life  crime  scenes,
      functions of police stations and other law enforcing agencies


      The Actual Practice: Students are taken to visit the on-site crime scene and live demonstrations

      of various aspects of crime scene investigations, identifying, collecting and handling of evidences

      etc are dealt with.


      Outcome: This activity has given an insight into the real life crime scenes and also has managed
      to motivate the students towards the field. The students are able to apply various theoretical

      knowledge learnt in the classroom to real life scenarios.
