Pamela Stone, Gwinnett County – Candidate for School Level Chair
Pamela Stone is School Nutrition Manager at Jackson
Elementary in Gwinnett County where the motto is “learning
and leading like champions”.

Leadership Academy Class of 2009-2010; Membership
Workshop presenter at state conference.
Pam has participated in many association events at all levels including National LAC, several
National ANCs, GSNA Managers’ Retreat, GA Legislative Advocacy Conference, GSNA Annual
Conferences, and GA Organics Retreat. Pam also assisted with running a “Foods for Families”
initiative at Britt Elementary (Gwinnett County).
Personal Statement and Goals:
x Encourage all school nutrition workers to become members and get certified.
x Encourage all SNP employees to complete continuing education hours.
x Encourage past Leadership Academy graduates to run for office.
x Help local and district associations with their Plan of Action

or submit any briefings that are necessary.
I hope to use this position as a stepping stone to bigger and better opportunities.
