Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of the Belanger, Inc. Chemical Tire Applicator™ (CTA) / Wheel Brite
Applicator™ (WBA). This manual will cover both the Chemical Tire Applicator™ and the Wheel Brite
Applicator™. Both units are physically and mechanically identical except for the nozzles. The purpose of
this manual is to familiarize you with the way that the Chemical Tire Applicator™ and the Wheel Brite
Applicator™ are installed, how they operate, and how to maintain them after installation.
These units are designed to effectively clean white wall tires economically and efficiently by supplying a
full coverage spray that will deliver an excellent cleaning effect.
They use a Hydrominder controlled mixture tank that will ensure that a proportionally mixed chemical is
constantly supplied to the nozzles without extensive supervision by the attendant. The Belanger, Inc. air-
controlled reciprocating pump will supply a strong steady spray of chemical compatible to other higher
volume pumps.

The “Installation” section will be used in conjunction with the Chemical Tire Applicator™ and/or Wheel
Brite Applicator™ drawings. These combined are your guide to installation.
The “Maintenance” section will be used to make sure you can keep your carwash component looking and
functioning like new.
Whether you have already operated a car wash or you are new to our industry, you know the importance
of the appearance of a carwash and its equipment to the customer. Keeping the equipment clean will not
only make the equipment easier to maintain, it will act as an example to your customer to keep their
equipment (their vehicle) clean as well. Replacing the cloth in your tunnel as necessary, will also help the
image of your wash and keep the customer coming back.
Read through the entire manual to familiarize yourself with the Chemical Tire Applicator™ / Wheel
Brite Applicator™ before installation. When installation is completed, you will want to keep this manual
as a guide to proper maintenance.
