The Kent Museum of
Freemasonry
Open to all, at the heart of Canterbury’s tourist trail you will find what is possibly the city's most unusual visitor attraction.
Close to the Westgate Towers and a five-minute stroll from the Cathedral is the Kent Museum of Freemasonry. This free to enter museum is a hidden treasure, which boasts a rare collection of exhibits of national and international importance. Its collection of Masonic material is possibly the finest in the UK outside of London, and covers all Masonic orders through the ages. The Kent
Museum of Freemasonry is located in St Peters Place, next to Westgate Gardens.
Kent Country Cricket Club
Enjoy a spot of cricket during the summer months by heading down to the St Lawrence Ground, home to the Kent County Cricket Club.
The club’s history stretches back to 1842, and is one of 18 first class county clubs in the country. Tickets are affordable, and you can select from either the Frank Woolley stand or uncovered terrace seating. If it’s a special occasion, you can even add in catering options for groups of more than 10 people, plus tannoy announcements at home matches!
