 Wildwood Animal Park
Ever fancied meeting two rescued bears, and giving them breakfast? Well, at Wildwood you can take part in the exclusive Bear Experience; you will find out about the bears, feed them, and get park entry for the whole day.
Enjoy seeing over 50 different species of British wildlife from beavers and wild boar to wolves and bears, all along the 42-acre long trail. Wildwood has an education department that can provide a variety of information regarding all types of animals.
Located in Herne Common, Herne Bay, to get there just take the Triangle towards Herne Bay
from the bus station in Canterbury.
Make sure you head down to Wildwood to check out the
brand new wolf enclosure, which
opened in 2018.
Howletts Wild Animal Park
Take a walk on the wild side with a trip to Howletts. With more than 400 animals, including lions, tigers, monkeys, gorillas and leopards, get close and personal with your favourite animal without ever leaving the county. Howletts nestles in 100 acres with lots of pathways for you to explore on your Kent safari. Howletts is a 10- minute bus ride from Canterbury bus station - just hop on the number 43!

Use your animal instinct to make your way along the zip wires and rope bridges through the treetop obstacle course. And the best part?
