Andrew: “No, why, why?”
Daniel: “I’m letting you off easy.”
Andrew continues to cry.
Andrew: “You will not be seen in heaven.” Daniel: “Neither will you.”
Chapter 7: The Discovery
Detective Williams: “Detective Paul Williams’ log, it is day 5 of the suspected Patriot Airlines embezzlement case,
today I’m gonna tap into one of Andrew Syce’s calls and see what I hear.”
Suddenly a call was being monitored.
Andrew: “Curry, are you there.”
Curry: “Yes.”
Andrew: “Ok, good, you’re the only one I can trust with this. Daniel just killed Joey.”
Curry: “What.”
Andrew: “Yeah, I think he freaked out because I told you to steal $58,000 instead of $500. He thinks we’re gonna get discovered or something.”
Curry: “Oh, I liked Joey, he was nice to me. Don’t forget we are meeting again soon in two weeks. We need someone new to access the stock shares and we need to discuss who to choose from Manhattan.”
Andrew: “What’s your new address, you moved to a different dump of an apartment didn’t you?”
Curry: “Yes, I did, my address is Apartment 15, 21st East Street, Brooklyn.”
Andrew: “Alright, thanks.”
Curry puts the phone down first.
Andrew: “You freak of nature.”
After 3 hours of driving the detective arrives with a cop in his car.
Detective Williams: “Alright, this is the place.”
Cut to half an hour later.
Detective Williams: “Alright, you slime ball, why don’t you start talkin' and I will lighten your sentence for prison.” Curry: “Alright. When Joey was alive he had access to stock market transactions, gave me the codes and I would steal the money. My bosses are Andrew Syce and Daniel Mann, though Daniel is Andrew’s assistant.”
Detective Williams: “How much have they stolen by now?”
Curry: “It’s easy math if you know the number.”
Detective Williams: “Well, I ain’t that good at math, so start spillin'.”
Curry: “By now they have stolen $3,146,000.”
Detective Williams: “Thank you for cooperating.”
Curry: “Just to let you know, I only ever got 0.05% of that money which is $1573 over the 6 years and I would gladly like to use my skills for good.”
Detective Williams: “Well, we would be happy to have you but first we gotta fix you up. You will be sent to a mental hospital and, once you’re better, we will consider you.”
Curry: “Thank you, officers.”
Chapter 8: The End
Swat Officer: “Alright, once we have gotten to the airport, your objective is to lockdown the building. Group A will
take the west side of the building, group B will take the north side, group C you will take the south side of the building and group D you will take the east side of the building. For each group, nominate two from your team to stand by your door to make sure no-one escapes, no-one gets in or out.
On the street was Danie,l he was walking home until he saw the SWAT cars going towards the airport.
Daniel: “Oh goddamit, I told him the increase of money would get noticed, I-I-I need to call Andrew.”
Daniel started to look less worried and scared for Andrew. He looked at the airport for a moment. He started dialling Andrew’s number. The phone was ringing.
Andrew: “Daniel, Daniel where are you? There are SWAT vehicles showing up, you gotta help me.”
Daniel didn’t say anything.
Andrew: “Daniel, DANIEL!!!”
Daniel suddenly said with a grin.
Daniel: “See ya in hell, you dirty rat.”
Daniel hung up the phone. Andrew kept screaming at the phone.
Andrew: “DANIEL!! DANIEL YOU SCUM BAG!! DANIEL!!”
Daniel dropped his phone on the floor and left to go home with his chin jutted out and the biggest grin on his face.
