Tell us about your time
at Seaford
I joined Seaford in Year 5 and I
found my love of Music, Music
Tech and Media during my time
at the school. In Seaford’s Sixth
Form and lockdown, I set up
my business after I had success
posting content on social media.
I now have a big following of over
2.2 million followers on social
media and I have a growing and
successful business as a Social
Media Content Creator.
Who or what is it that
inspires you?
I’m really interested in scary
stories, conspiracy theories, and
educational and factual videos.
This is my niche and the content
really works on my channel
because my passion for it comes
across. Louis Theroux’s style and
presentation really inspire me.
I love Seaford because...
What’s not to love, it’s allowed
me to be me and I couldn’t have
asked for anything more.

What was the transition like
between GCSE and Sixth Form?
I’m really enjoying working at a
higher level and the stretch I get
from my teachers. I was ready
for the Sixth Form and I like the
private study periods. I use the
Sixth Form Centre to study and
socialise with friends. The café is
a great place to relax and meet
friends.
What is it that inspires you?
The idea of knowing as much as
I can, and I like helping people.
My parents inspire me, my dad
takes everything in his stride and
has helped me believe I can do
anything I want to do. My mum
is incredibly empathetic and this
has rubbed off on me. I think you
should live your life to make other
people smile and feel happy.
“I joined Seaford at the start of Sixth Form and
found it really easy to settle in – I’ve met some great
people who’ll be friends for life. There’s a great
ethos because everyone is hard-working. I’m very
happy with what I’ve achieved especially my A in
Biology and A* at EPQ. I’m very excited to have
got into my first-choice university and can’t wait
to start my course – and spend the next four years
of my life studying Marine Biology. I love Seaford
because the people are just great and there’s
always loads of support.”

What was the transition like
between GCSE and Sixth Form?
It’s a step up but Seaford helps
you get there with the way they
teach the subjects. I’ve been
able to focus on Science and I
like taking the subjects that I
want to study at university. I’m
really interested in them, and the
teachers are really well qualified.
I enjoy talking to them about
different concepts and they
suggest further reading that I
also enjoy doing. They bring the
subject to life and give me time
whenever I need some extra help.
What do you think Seaford has
done for you as a person?
It’s given me structure and
direction, and I’ve discovered
what I want to do in life. Dr
Richardson is my Biology teacher
and tutor and he knows me
really well. If I’m overstretching
myself, something I often do, he’ll
suggest I take a break, it’s a great
teacher/student relationship and
I’m learning to get the balance
right.
Mr Ashton was my houseparent
from Year 9 to 12, and he’s just
been amazing. He’s always full
of very helpful advice, I still have
a regular support meeting with
him even though I’m in Year 13
and we just talk through what is
going on. He helps me plan and
has great advice. The pastoral
support at Seaford has given me
so much help and confidence.
