Destinations
There are many different routes students take after our Sixth Form. The majority of students go on to top
universities, others pursue a sports career or do an apprenticeship. Students use their time in our Sixth Form
to look at the best route for them and our experienced team are here to support students with their decision.
Fraser Lyne
Fraser studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics in Seaford’s Sixth Form,
and gained a place at the University of Exeter to read Medicine.
“I love science and I want to work in medicine because I’m interested in the
human body, and I want to help people in the future.”
During his time at Seaford, Fraser played rugby at a high level for Harlequins and
Seaford, and he plans to play at Exeter.
Mollie Wheeler
Mollie gained a golf scholarship at the University of Cameron in Oklahoma
during her time in our Sixth Form.
“I joined in Year 4 and Seaford has created my love for sport. Early on, I was
often the youngest on the hockey team, but I was always embraced by the
older students who helped me every step of the way.
As a sport scholar, I felt really supported and students are so lucky to have the
great facilities and coaching. The Johnson Centre, with its lifestyle gym and spin
studio, has really helped with my physical wellbeing, along with the amazing
physios we have here. And doing PE A Level has really helped too.
I found my love for golf at Seaford. We have a 9-hole course and driving range
onsite and a resident professional, Mr Halsey. He’s been able to work closely with
my other golf coaches outside the school to make sure I’m progressing. I played
golf for Sussex and even managed to qualify for the Junior European Tour
Finals in Spain.
Seaford’s Sports Department has really helped me get my scholarship in
America, while the Sixth Form team helped with all the academic processes
I had to go through. Sometimes I’ve had doubts about whether I was good
enough, but the Seaford sports staff always brought me back up.”
