Room in THE LIVING COAST

Our gregarious Humboldt penguins want to meet you at THE LIVING COAST! Several times a day,
without prompting from zoo staff, the birds voluntarily line up outside the door leading to the Penguin
Encounter room. Imagine being on the other side of that door—see it open and watch the curious birds
waddle into the room to mingle with you, your friends, family, and new acquaintances. While penguins
and humans are getting friendly, an animal care specialist shares fascinating facts about these birds and
details of CZS’s conservation work with wild Humboldt penguins in Punta San Juan, Peru.
This experience is approximately 45 minutes long, depending on the number of guest participants.
Participants must be at least 5 years old.
Penguin Encounters costs $40 per person and zoo admission and parking are not included. Tickets
