Join our Humboldt penguins poolside for a fishy good time this summer.
During our exciting Poolside Penguin Feeding Adventure, guests (one or
two at a time) enter the Rocky Shores habitat and help our animal care
staff feed Humboldt penguins a fishy meal. Feedings last about 30 minutes. What's
The animals love it—they participate by choice.
The cost of this adventure is $150 for one or two people and does not
include zoo admission and parking. Tickets must be purchased in advance Cookin'?

Over the winter, we’ve been busy making
improvements to the culinary and retail services
at the zoo. The most significant change was the
transformation of retail store, Wildlife Trading
Post, to the new and improved South Gate Market.
Opening on Memorial Day weekend, the market
will feature grab-and-go food and beverages, as
well as new retail collections for kids and adults.
You can sit at new indoor and outdoor seating
areas and enjoy coffee, or ICEE® and PepsiCo
products. For adults, alcohol options will also be
available. Making purchases will be fast and easy
with self-checkout technology.
We’ve also added tasty new items to the menus
of zoo eateries, including the food trucks on the
East Mall. Taco Caja serves delicious street-style
tacos, chips and salsa, nachos, and more. Tasty
hand-breaded chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches,
and fries keep customers of The COOP coming
