Inventions and Creative Works As a condition
of employment, all inventions and creative works conceived,
created, or developed by a Society employee, whether
during working hours or otherwise, that result from an
employee’s work for the Society or involve the use of any
Society equipment, supplies, facilities, or time or that relate
directly to the business of the Society or to its research or
development, are the exclusive property of the Society. This
includes but is not limited to written documents or works,
creative pieces, work, or materials, graphic designs and
artwork, photographs, audio and video recordings, de-
signs, concepts, and ideas, scientific data and research, and
all other original work developed or created by a Society
employee in the course of carrying out his or her assigned
job duties.
