Fields of Green for ALL • Collectively Reforming South African Cannabis Laws

            3.8 Legal

Attorneys have worked hand in hand with the Cannabis industry for decades, defending against the
human rights’ violations in the face of prohibition. Various law firms across South Africa help interpret
the complexities of the application of Cannabis law as well as play a crucial role in policy formulation.

            3.9 Universities & Higher Education

As the Cannabis industry develops and becomes mainstream there is a need for adequate training and
education for current and future stakeholders i.e. entrepreneurs, employees, consultants etc. Fields of
Green for ALL has already begun working with universities to initiate research programmes across various
disciplines. In the long term students should be able to choose to study a degree in Cannabis equipping
them with the skills needed to become employable as well as entrepreneurial.
