INFERENCES
EXAMPLE:
1. While I was walking alone last night, suddenly
there was a man who appeared out of nowhere
and try to touch me. I was very petrified. My
hands were cold and I could not even moved as I
was very scared.
PETRIFIED = VERY SCARED
(that one is unable to move)
The writer tells us that she is very scared that she
could not moved. The evidence is "...I could not even
moved...".
