1 can black olives, sliced (abour~i 1/2 cups sliced)
2 teaspoons finely chopp~d red onion
3-4 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 1/2 pounds butter, softened ( six sticks)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 1/2 cups shredded Colby or Monterrey Jack Cheese
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

1 /2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup or more chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon finely chopped cilantro ( optional)
More butter to help bind the spread together. (More is better)
Place all ing:redients in a large bowl Stir together. NOTE: You can add
red chili flakes if you want a spicier spread. For a Tex-Mex Spread, add
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin and 1/2 teaspoon chili powder. Shape into
a log and chill This is a very versatile butter that can be easily modified.
You can use to make garlic bread, spread on meat, fish and even veggies.
Banana Boats
Take four bananas. Peel and cut off about 1/2 inch of the top. Hollow
out some of the banana making a small well. Fill the cavity with rice _
krispies cereal, chopped nuts and chopped marshmallows. Put the top
on each banana. Secure with a toothpick and place in the freezer for
about 15 minutes. Melt 1 pkg of peanut & chocolate chips. Dip each
banana in the melted chips. Place on waxed paper and refrigerate for
about 15 minutes. Repeat the process. Then dip one more time and
then roll in chopped nuts.
