How Do I Use the Contracts Workbench?
Overview
Contracts workbench is designed to consolidate critical information from PeopleSoft Contracts, Project Costing and Grants
application. There are six main sections in the Contracts Workbench, which are the Contracts Workbench Header Section,
the Summary Amounts section, three data sections (Grants Data, Contracts Data, Projects Data) and the Related Content
area.
Contracts Workbench displays data in grids specifics to each data area.
Each grid can be collapsed or expanded based on the requirements of the user. There are hyperlinks contained within
each of the data sections that provide access to delivered pages within Compass. Based upon your security you may or
may not access to view the linked pages.
Please make sure that you have been granted access to GRANTS/EPEX in order to access the Contracts Workbench. Without
correct access, you will not be able to view certain data sections.
Navigation
Navigator > Customer Contracts > Contracts Workbench
Using Contract Workbench
1. Enter the Business Unit.
Business Unit = GRANT
1 2. Enter the Contract.
2 You may use other combinations of
search criteria to expand/narrow your
search results. This will bring up
additional search results and you can
choose the appropriate value.
3. Click the Search button.
The Contract Workbench displays.
