The SSARA was recognized by the Large Gazehound Racing Association (LGRA), and we
started our first events at the end of 2004.
Founder members of SSARA were all Sloughi people: Ellen Brady, M.-Dominique Crapon
de Caprona, Bernd Fritzsch, and Jack McGuffin.
How the track took shape
Following the event in Missouri the work started.
The field was leveled to make the track flatter at the top of this hill. Fences were put up
to make the area secure for the dogs with high prey drive.
