We started with a dirt track for the first events in Fall of 2004.

A mix of various native grasses recommended by an Irish Wolfhound friend, Dagmar
Nielsen, was then sown on the field to help stabilize it. In 2005 the grass track was ready.

November 20, 2004

The first SSARA all breeds LGRA events took place on a dirt track together with the
second SFAA specialty racing event. That day 1 Borzoi, 4 Irish Wolfhounds, 2 Rhodesian
Ridgebacks, 9 Pharaoh hounds and 9 Sloughis participated.

It was followed by an all-breeds event on November 21.
Another back to back LGRA event followed on November 27 and 28, 2004.
