Over the years the dogs ran in all kinds of weather, in freezing temperatures, in snow,

some rain, in strong winds, beautiful weather and the last race meet of 20 years of SSARA
was for the first time in fog. The orange starting flag was replaced by a strong led light.
There was enough visibility to foul and finish line judge.

From October 2003 (event for sponsorship) to December 2024, SSARA has offered a total
of 249 days of straight racing.

After 2022, SSARA continued to organize events but without Sloughis.
As of 2025, LGRA straight racing on the Shi’Rayân track is still ongoing.

Last day of racing in 2024 with fog.
Strong led light, instead of orange flag to signal start.
