        Ward Ltd. Let's say a word about the name of the ship: Sloughi, greyhound in Arabic, is a
        canine species known since ancient times for its gazelle-hunting qualities. The word
        Sloughi derives from a town in the south of the Arabian Peninsula, Saluk or Saloug.


        More Precisely, she has been modified over time, from a tanker (oil tanker) to a mixed
        ship (tanks for wine and holds for general cargo).”




        Moroccan Pinardier Sloughi


        Pinardier from the French colloquial “pinard” meaning wine.
        This is the same tanker as before but refurbished as cargo.
        Some of its cargo being wine it made her famous in France!! This is why we reproduce
        two contributions with anecdotes here.
