4. Schaab
The next dog in the book is Schaab (meaning: the nobleman).
He was born near Kairsean in Tunisia in September 1899. In July 1990 Auguste Le
Gras imported him. That is all that is mentioned. And one picture.
When I look closely, he looks a bit like the Sloughi-Azawakh type of dogs we had at a
later period.
But it is difficult to see, there is no mention of his color and the picture is only black
and white/sepia.
Not mentioned on his page, Schaab was the father of 2 litters born June 28, 1901; with
Muska, 4 dogs, 5 bitches and with Oereїda, 8 dogs, 2 bitches.
