FILL THE HOT WATER ONLY EXTRACTION
Open the cap and fill the water reservoir (P) with normal tap water (about 0.52 gal/1.9 L). Do NOT use tap
water that exceeds 17.5 grains of hardness per gallon (30 French degrees). If your tap water exceeds 17.5
grains per gallon (30 French Degrees) dilute the tap water by using 50% demineralized (distilled) water
with 50% tap water.

Make sure to close the reservoir cap.

HOT WATER WITH NON-FOAMING DETERGENT EXTRACTION
Refer to the directions on the non-foaming detergent you select. Pay particular attention to diluting the
non-foaming detergent with the proper amount of water called for by the product’s directions.

PLEASE NOTE
• ! CAUTION! Never use foaming or acid-based cleaning agents. They may damage the internal compo-
nents of the machine.
• ! WARNING! Never use muriatic acid- or ammonia-based cleaning agents or cleaning agents based on
products classed as irritants. Using steam increases the volatility of these substances, which are harmful if
inhaled.
• ! CAUTION! Your warranty does not cover damage caused by using detergents that do not conform to
the above indications.

mPLEASE NOTE! Use only tap water for filling operations. Demineralized water is not suitable for
this type of appliance.

! CAUTION! Only fill the steam reservoir (M) with water. NEVER add any detergent to the water in the
Steam reservoir (M). Using anything other than water in the steam reservoir (M) may seriously damage the
product.
