                                                                  BACKGROUND


                                                          Character,  experience.  and  background  culture
                                                  difference varies one’s perception and understanding of space
                                                  to each other. Humans activities and spatial experiences
                                                  unconsciously determine the function and definition of the space
                                                  itself which is used universally-place. The functions and the
                                                  definition itself keeps evolving and changing overtime, creating
                                                  new space perceptions due to human constantly-evolving-
                                                   activities. Human behaviour and space adapt in two directions.

                                                          This phenomenon also happened at a drink stall
                                                  located beside UNTAR, HAUS! HAUS! is very popular among
                                                  students and office workers from nearby, empty space barely
                                                  seen in front of the cashier. The student-friendly-price with a taste
                                                  equivalent to a drink in a mall makes the consumers won’t give up
                                                           crowding to the vehicle circulation area.

                                                          The ideas of this research is to raise the potential
                                                  interactions between consumers and existing space while they
                                                  are waiting and to try to come up with design ideas to manipulate
                                                  the consumers’ queuing behavior in order to create comfort for
