medical issues addressed, they all go on a strict
Adoption Agreement. We endeavour to secure
every dogs future to the best of our ability.
On a day to day basis The Edward Foundation
is run by several key people. Trustee De Randall
is the Chairman & deals with the dogs daily,
Trustee Marion Beardall is the Vice Chairman
& takes care of the paperwork/vet bills &
merchandise , Trustee Margaret Cassidy is in
charge of all aspects of the dogs in Scotland,
Samantha Morris is our in-house behaviourist
for dogs having any issues and deals with all
aspects of dogs coming into us and finding their
Forever Homes while Adam Williams takes care
of volunteer enquiries and recruitment. Without
the monumental efforts of these people and
every single volunteer the Charity would not be
able to function or help the dogs the way we do.
Above are photos of “Lemmy”. He came to us
at 6mths old in an absolutely awful state after
being attacked by other dogs in a puppy farmers
back yard. He lost an eye within a couple of
days due to a melting ulcer but we rushed him to
the amazing Animal Health Trust in Newmarket

pioneering retinal eye graft surgery and Zero
pressure vacuum treatment for the huge open
wound under his armpit. He has since had both
front legs operated on as well to straighten the
bones. The Foundation has spent close to £15k
on Lemmys recovery which is a huge amount of
money but we knew he deserved the chance to
have a quality of life and now is a happy, healthy
wonderful little bulldog that loves everyone and
everything.
