Onto the 125th Anniversary Championship Show which drew an entry of 139 exhibits. There were
numerous special awards and gifts for club members and exhibitors, along with a buffet lunch,
cheese and wine and cake for all.
The judges for this day were Rob
Harris (Nobozz) and David McHale
(Kelloe), and our BIS judge was
Susan Rowe (Rockytop). Susan
found her BIS to be Mr & Mrs
Dearlove’s Lumbuse Mr Douglas
Home For Ryjarlow.
Moving into the New Year there was a
change of hands at the helm again.
Barbara Darmanin stepped down from
President of the club and Lieza Handley stepping down from Secretary to take up a new challenge as
Secretary of the Junior Bulldog Club. We wish them all the best for the future.
We continued celebrating
our 125th year with our Open
Show in December. The judge
for this was Luca Bisignano
from Italy. Luca found his BIS
to be Ricatori Imagine That
and his RBIS and BPIS to be
Haddaway Last Christmas.
We even had a special surprise
guest in the interval for the
children.
Looking forward to the future, the club remains in good hands with John Shirley becoming President,
Chris Bradshaw becoming Chairman, Claire Parker becoming Secretary and Victoria Eaton
becoming Treasurer. We have a hard working committee that are not only show people, but people
who are dedicated to the preservation of our much loved Bulldog.
Here’s to the future for us all.
