6. Massachusetts Centralized Clinical Placement (CCP site) Thank you to our many Preceptors and our internal Clinical Instructors. FY’ 19 we have placed 55 senior practicum students and graduate student placements, and 81 undergraduate clinical placements (602 students). We work with over 30 colleges primarily in MA. The CCP site consists of a network of health care organizations and nursing programs working together to facilitate clinical placements for undergraduate and graduate nursing students. All student placements go through the CCP site and the Professional Development Department. Any questions please contact Gail Fisher, RN or Margaret Russell Greene, RN.
7. Needs Assessment for Nursing will be sent out electronically via Survey Monkey. Please complete as we utilize this data for planning our educational programs. Based on last years Needs Assessment we provided programs such as Charge Nurse, Diabetes Management, EKG Rhythm Interpretation, and Pain management.
8. Onboarding Update FY’19: we had 33 onboarding sessions with 825 staff. The number of staff and onboarding has increased over the past 2 years. New staff include Unit Coordinators, Mental Health Workers/Counselors, PCSA’s, CCTs and CCT-R, LPNs, RNs, Travel RNs, NPs, MAs, Nursing Students and Instructors.
