My Survival is Important No Hunger

When someone leaves home, there is hope in the mind Hunger, hunger everywhere,
Injustice and inequality were never in that mind. Help them out if you care.
I never thought I’ll have to understand For food, people make sacrifices,
That pity and hunger stares at you so bland. But none tries to make changes.
Your survival is important
But life has chased you away, Many die, many families cry
There must have been a reason They wait and beg, but still no food.
That I am here today. Others waste resources and food,
I want to be treated well and fair; Not knowing many people get no food.
My survival is important,
So, in this harsh world Share the food with those who suffer,
I will have to fight and dare. Because their lives are a lot tougher.
They share every morsel they find,
Jiya Sobti Do not be selfish, distribute and be kind.

Live without lunch and dinner,
Many more die
Due to malnutrition and hunger.
All they have is hope,
Life is precious,
Some of us have education,
Shelter, access to food
