Reliance Foundation Young Champs
aunched in 2015 to promote grassroots football, Young Champs is a
L residential education and football coaching scholarship programme
for promising teenagers to develop their playing skills within a world-
class ecosystem. Selected through the Indian Super League’s grassroots
initiatives, children in the 12-16 age group study at the Reliance
Foundation School, Navi Mumbai, while they simultaneously develop
their playing skills. To date, the foundation has awarded 80 Young
Champs scholarships.

n partnership with the globally renowned premier
I US-based National Basketball Association (NBA),
the Reliance Foundation has initiated a programme to
popularise the sport of basketball. This programme has
already attracted the participation of 11 million children
in 21 states and Union territories of the country.
