O ris, the Good Shepherd Finishing School (GSFS, estb. 2003) set within a meticulously landscaped
20-acre campus, 2 km from the GSIS campus, is the labour of love of Elsamma Thomas. This glob-
ally benchmarked finishing school provides its 100 women students the choice of six-weeks, three
and nine months programmes designed to polish the personal, social and life skills of students. The
curriculum develops the public speaking, time management, leadership, fashion design, culinary arts,
etiquette, first aid, health and hygiene, physical fitness, yoga, meditation, dance, and music skills of
girl students. In addition optional courses in financial planning, banking, legal education, and modern
parenting are available to transform “girls into confident, accomplished women”.
