wRITING:
1. Start writing your first draft based on your notes and preliminary outline.
2. Begin with an appealing paragraph so the reader is interested in your report.
3. Don’t forget that the main point of writing a research report is to prove your thesis. You should include the method you used to prove it.
4. Your paragraphs should be in order. Try to begin every paragraph in a different way.
5. Remember to state the sources of your information.
6. Write your conclusion.
7. Write a bibliography. Cite your sources.
REVIsING:
• Read your report carefully.
• Are your paragraphs clear, logical and organized?
• Can you add anything to help the reader understand your report better?
EDITING AND PRooFREADING:
• Check for spelling mistakes.
• Did you prove your thesis?
• Ask one of your classmates to read your report and tell you his/her opinion.
PUBLIsHING:
• Rewrite your report.
• Share your report with your class.
